I guess we'll just have to banter.

[1] Yep!

If you'd asked me last Friday, "would you take winning 2 of 3 in Philly?", I would have said, "Are you fucking nuts? Of course I will!!!"

There's something about losing the 5th game that freaked everyone out I think. We'll get 'em tomorrow.

Let me ask you this Banters...is it possible for a FAN to press? I was definitely okay with last night and I didn't lose any sleep. However now, I'm trying to come up with...anything as a good luck charm to help the boys bring it home tomorrow night. I'm even considering wearing my Paul O'Neill t-shirt as a good luck charm. Dare I and do I, press too much? I'm so on pins and needles.

I like to fill the hours by panicking,

[4] That isn't the answer I was looking for [4]. LOL. My ticker won't take panicking. Fuck. To be young and carefree. I could use that like now!. We have an awesome team. My hope is that they got together and agreed that they are all in for the victory. No lose. EMPHATICALLY, NO LOSE!

[5] WC we're all superstitious to a degree...I've been marking W (in blue) and L (in red) on the schedule all season at my desk; and I've worn the same Thurman Munson shirt with my Yankee hat since game 6 of the ALCS

Wear the O'Neill shirt...it will help.

10-4 Good Buddy.

[7] 10-4 tonight...but it's 11-4 after tomorrow night!

You guys can all panic if you want, I am just waiting till we win tomorrow so I can bust out this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay2t2YHTVhI

"Sugar Bum Bum", Mon!! Trinidad&Tobago's finest, the legendary Lord Kitchener. I'll be dancing all day tomorrow after #27!!

[3] Yeah, I felt pretty good after game 5, no panic in me at all. That's all went by the wayside since, and constantly checking baseball sites in my free time is probably not helping!

i have been so incredibly busy the last coupla few days, yet i still find time to panic and stress out over us winning. i have a *monster* day tomorrow, until an hour into gametime. i just hope things go smoothly for me all day and i come home to an early comfortable Yankee lead!

then, i hope to drink an entire keg of celebratory ale, followed by about 36 hours of olympic sleep, before my next gig.

please, oh please let the Yankees WIN tomorrow night!!!!!!!

GO ANDY!!! GO YANKS!!!

I wasn't able to go to the 2000 parade, so its been too damn long since I've been to one of these.

Well, technically I was at the Giants parade, but that was sort of unplanned. and I'm not a football guy anyway.

They had better not ruin this for me.

[10] Great song, Jazz. I can picture myself dancing around the house to it with my baby wearing her Halloween Yankee costume. Let's hope there's a lot of "bum bum" from our line-up tomorrow.

Play Today. Win Today.

F-Utley!

[15] Damn straight. Went to be 10:30 pm last night, so I am rested and ready.

Just got into work (I'm CST).... MAN, today would be a great day for the Yankees to win the World Series.

From a baseball-loving perspective, you have to love the theater in having Martinez v. Pettite in (new) Yankee Stadium tonight. Pettite's a big key to this game. If he can limit the Phillies over 6 or 7, it's a win. If he falters early, the scoreboard could light up like a pinball machine tonight. My pick is a 12-11 final score.

[18] It is poetic to see Pedro and Andy square off especially after so much history. It makes for great baseball. They both adapted so well to the inevitable changes in their stuff due to aging.
