I read a comment from a Yankee fan that if Jeter were to leave then he/she won't care all that much. I find it amazing (disturbing) how dismissive some Yankee fans are of Jeter. I think read another comment from this same person how if ARod could be cloned then he/she would love to have 9 ARods.

Not trying to compare the two, but it seems to always come back to that. Right? Especially since the two are completely different kinds of players. Both can coexist peacefully. However, I have a hard time understanding how easy some find it to turn their back on him.

The guy has been nothing but class. If I see him playing on another team then I know it'll will bug the shit out of me, how can some be so ho-hum if he were to leave? I don't know, it just pisses me the fuck off how ungrateful some fans are. Especially when it comes back to Jeter.

Some people are so fickle. Imagine if after the 3rd game in 2005 Mo Rivera was replaced as the closer of the Yankees? Many people were asking for him to be replaced.

Oh well....

[1] obviously, the Yankee fan you referenced doesn't know the centaur's genetic code prevents it from being cloned. Even if it was possible, 9ARods would make the annual payroll $270 million dollars.

Let's keep it real. Jeter will retire as a Yankee with class and I refuse to get caught up in foolish chatter when it comes to Jeter! It's not about money for Jeter when it comes to playin for the team he loves, and the man really loves being Jeter of NY!
