Wasn't the intro guitar strumming sampled by Tupac?

this song on the "Top 100 One Hit Wonders" countdown on VH1 led to a big "wait a second...that chick is DEAD?!" moment from me.

Alex - I didn't catch it at first, but it does sound a bit like the beginning to Keep Your Head Up. In terms of timing, it's dead on, but the quality of the recording and the fact that they only go through the progression once makes it a little tough to tell if those are the same chords.

"Christmas Wrapping" is another classic cut from these guys. Exactly what you'd expect from a Waitresses holiday song.

Ahh...Patty Donahue. You should have seen the way gigantoresque John Tesh would stalk...err, I mean..follow her around at Maxwell's back in the day.
