Momofuku’s famous pork buns:
Yeah, they are worth the trip. And if you are on the go, pop into the Milk Bar for ‘em. You won’t be sorry.

Seriously man some the photos you post are absolutely criminal for those of us outside of NYC. OMFG.
Anyone want to overnight me about ten of these?
"Personal foul .... roughing the dieter ... 15-pound penalty ... repeat the post."
LOL. Okay, tomorrow I'll post lima beans.
Seriously, thought, these little bad boys are dumb yummy!
I was all prepared to hate the place after the fawning coverage, but those pork buns are seriously the best (everything else was great too) and, on the whole, it isn't pricey at all for NY. One of the only places I've been to in the last couple years that completely lived up to the hype for me.
Dang, I wish I could get my appetite back. Looks yummy.
I don't love the "scene" i-ness of the Momofuku places but overall the food has been interesting and good.
Be prepared to pay $9 for that bad boy.
Their Compost Cookies and Blueberry Cream Cookies are outrageously good!
Yeah the nine bucks is a lot but worth it as a treat. If you eat them slowly it comes to about a dollar a bite. Again, that's a lot, but just the kind of indulence I can actually afford on occasion.
Funny. I live three blocks away and I've never been there. Am I an idiot, or what?
Evil mouth-watering pork skin! For shame!
10) No, I actually envy you. First timer and all....Let us know what you think when you finally make it over there.
Will do, Alex. I'm planning to hit it this weekend...
