Happy Birthday, George.

And speaking of George, here’s Mr. Cagney as that other famous George, Mr. Cohan:

Bow Down.

Now just imagine Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford doing that .... :-)

Happy Birthday George!

Brick out today. When the first thing you think of in the morning when tossing the dogs outside is "damn, it's hot already" you know that indoors with AC is the way to go.

Still, an olde tyme Nineteenth Century style base ball game at 1 pm. Too hot to take the dogs though.

Happy birthday, USA, George Steinbrenner, and Rube Goldberg.

I'll miss the end of the game today (unless it's absurdly short) for a Fourth party. Red Sox fan hosts, too.

Cano and Jeter named AL all-star starters ... and Morneau rightfully over Teix and Longoria rightfully over A-Rod.

Beltre is having a better season that A-Rod ... I wonder if they both get reserve nods.

[4] Those are the four infielders I voted for. I can't remember who I voted for in the OF. It didn't seem interesting.

I think Girardi should name Pedroia, Martinez, Ellsbury, Beckett, Cameron, and Varitek to the team.
