Bill Withers is awesome. Great guy from what I've seen in his interviews.

thank you Mr. OK and Alex!

love this song. bill withers is great. i really need to pick up a greatest hits cd, or something. i remember hearing this song sometime around 15 years ago, or so, when i started touring professionally.

my maternal grandma is the most special person in the universe for me. her birthday was on Tuesday. she's been gone more than half my life, at this point, but she's with me every single day. she's my guardian angel and looks over me. literally, too, in fact - every morning i wake up and the very first thing i see is a picture of her, smiling. that picture has lived with me in every one of my homes. it was the very first thing i unpacked when i moved into my new house, a little over a year ago!

i played - and taught - an Al Green song last nite. i dig Withers more!

One of my top five favorite songs of all time. Thanks for putting it at the top of the playlist.

[0] Excellent, AB. Such a simple, beautiful song..and Bill's voice was "soul" defined.

I'm trying to find a copy of the documentary made about him a few years back "Still Bill", there's a trailer on YouTube..
