Cool tune. Never heard any of his work pre Cold Spring Harbor. Funny coincidence though. I had Billy on the brain just last week. Finally got around to loading some of his old albums into my iTunes library.This week I listened to Piano Man, Turnstiles, The Stranger, and 52nd Street.Always good to go back to those albums.Not all of his music has aged well, but quite a bit of it has.
He was my first concert. MSG, June 1980. I was 14. First time I saw a joint,too. guys were lined up to buy em in the bathroom. A sight I'll never forget.

Heck, I have his Attila album, from his heavy metal period. Billy in his early days did take a strange journey.
