I met Liam Neeson on the set on a movie he worked on a couple of years ago in Brooklyn; very down to earth and personable, and very doting on his wife and children. In particular, when Natasha came up to him with the kids, automatically everyone took a step back allowing him all the space he needed. There wasn't a cue or nod or a word said, you just felt like you needed to give the man enough space to radiate. Easy to feel for, especially after what happened. I like him for that above anything else.
[2] I was really looking forward to seeing him play Abraham Lincoln in the Spielberg film; I had him pegged. Oh well, Daniel Day-Lewis is not a bad fallback option, huh?
