Crud, an URP.

Go git 'em, boys.

[1] He's got a perfect game so far. : )

4 Just Fair   ~  Aug 10, 2011 7:17 pm

Well, a no-hitter anyway.

5 Just Fair   ~  Aug 10, 2011 7:24 pm

Well, the shut-ou........oh forget it!
Yay, Curtis!

6 rbj   ~  Aug 10, 2011 7:25 pm

[4] Well that's gone, as is the shutout.

7 rbj   ~  Aug 10, 2011 7:52 pm

As frustrating as it is to watch A.J., it's pleasurable to watch Ivan.

Run Robbie run. Nice triple. Man his swing is a beaut!

[1] No URPing tonight! (Unfortunately, the Angels are throwing another URP tomorrow night.)

I feel bad for the kid, but otherwise this is quite satisfying. I'm surprised its so quiet around here, not that I have been in many game threads this season.

So Garrett hasn't pitched above AA before. 5 runs isn't good, but he's not pitching worse than a certain pitcher with an 8 digit contract. . .

[9] Yeah, I've been fairly absent/early leave from game threads this year. Just too damn hot to run the computer (still have a 20" CRT) this summer. But I just bought an HP Touchpad and once I get a wireless router, it'll make things much easier.

What a catch. That could have been an unmitigated disaster. Yikes.

13 Just Fair   ~  Aug 10, 2011 8:24 pm

Brutal call.

14 rbj   ~  Aug 10, 2011 8:27 pm

What a crappy call.

Curtis is THe Man!

Curtis making up for last night's mistake!

17 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 8:56 pm

[13] [14] Late to the party. What was the bad call?

18 Alex Belth   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:06 pm

Much better tonight, eh. Ivan in trouble in the seventh though.

19 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:09 pm

Robertson available tonight?

20 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:15 pm

I love relievers who throw strikes!

21 Just Fair   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:21 pm

[17] Brett was punched out at first on a throw from the shortstop. Replays showed Brett's foot on the bag and ball about a foot from entering first baseman's glove. It was the third out and nullified the guy who would have scored from third.

22 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:22 pm

[21] Thanks. Looks like it won't be decisive. (knocks wood)

23 Just Fair   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:25 pm

Damn, Robison. You're strong!

24 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:25 pm

Ha, I was just wondering why Granderson had so many more homers than Cano this year...

25 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:26 pm

Whaddayaknow!

26 Marek   ~  Aug 10, 2011 9:26 pm

I like how the bats didn't go silent after building an early lead tonight.

Very nice W.
