Best Cuban Sandwich I ever had was from a takeout window at a laundromat on White Street in Key West. Seriously. I asked around after falling in love with the sandwich, and everyone on the island agreed that the takeout joint at the laundromat made the best one. The were right.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a low-country inspired Cuban Sandwich at a jernt called The Tattooed Moose in Charleston, SC. Glorious place, that is. The only real difference from a traditional Cuban was pickled spicy green tomatoes instead of pickles. Sooooo good!

A laundromat. That is priceless. And those green tomatoes sound dope!

There's a liquor store in West New York, NJ that makes a great one. WNY is a Cuban town I've been told, since the late 60s.

I can't help it, this magazine title make me think of the lyric;

"Everybody Run, the Home Coming Queen has a Gun!"

I love a Cuban Sandwich. Now I'm going to sulk all day because I don't know where to get one here in Somerset County.
