Taster’s Cherce

What makes the world a better place? Fresh bread. Everything about it. The smell, the feel, the taste. Nothing more simple but as deeply satisfying as a loaf of warm bread.

I'm with you, AB. No controversy there....unlike bacon.

Those who don't truck with gluten might disagree. Thanks to my little brother, I'll never feel the same way about bread.

i like bread! the above picture doesn't do anything for me, but in general, i like bread. soft & light. for sliced bread (let's see if that summons our resident comedian!), at the house, i stock potato bread. and i love garlic bread. lots of different breads...

That's a beautiful loaf (thelarmis notwithstanding).
Alex (or anyone), have you tried the Charles Van Over bread-making book?

I definitely like making bread. Lots of it. At any rate I kneed the dough, especially when in a jam. Butter nuff about me... Anyone else else up for some punpernickel?
