Certainly one of the best movies ever. The Gold Rush, The Kid, City Lights, Modern Times and The Great Dictator are my favorites from Chaplin; each had a discernible moment where your heart was breaking for him and each spoke volumes about triumph of the human spirit despite catastrophe and loss. Such was his own life, genius can turn hardship into great value.
