I like brushing most of the salt off of mine. Not all of it, but most of it. Yet, a lot of them don't taste that good anymore; either they are charred or rock hard or just don't have that good dirty water flavor anymore.

i like mine salty, no condiments and at a baseball game!

and yeah, soft and not burnt.

i also like pretzel rods... they're drumstick-like!

Can someone tell me why the best-tasting pretzels are the sourdough ones that you can find in Philadelphia gas stations?

Not pretzel related, but I was in Philly for work last week and after a couple beers I had my first Philly cheesesteak dog. Amazing.
