Thanks for this intriguing recipe, I will be sure to try it. Many, many years ago the NY Times had another recipe for lasagna also from Ed Giobbi. We kept the recipe for decades and enjoyed for a long time but somehow lost it over the years. Seeing this recipe reminded me of my old favorite and I Googled it and found it. I would like to share it with any of you that would like to try it.
