Oh man, when I was a little kid, my family went to Nom Wah every Chinese New Year. I haven't been there in 30 years or more - keep saying I have to go back.

Frequented both of these places, regularly, while in law school, early 70's. Lived in West Village at 494 Hudson Street. Worked at 100 Centre Street. Have a friend here in VT who used to bartend at the White Horse Tavern. Few condos then. Post Office a post office. Lots of guys in leather. Gardens on corner of Christopher St closed to public. Antique stores. Taxi depot. Li Lac chocolate. Breakfast specials. Girl stabbed in the lobby of the apartment house. Can't remember her name.
