That's cool! I just watched Johny Damon single in the ninth inning of gmae 4 in 2009, then steal second and third against the shift on Tex. Speaking of which, I heard Damon said he would play for the Yankees at the Major League minimum. I'd take him. Never understood why they didn't resign him as a backup. SO what if he's old, the whole team is old.

It isn't just that he is old but no good anymore. He got cut twice last year. Sometimes you just have to say goodbye.

If Damon really is wondering why the Yanks never signed him again, he should have a long talk with himself and his superagent. Personally, I always felt Cash held a grudge against them for helping to lose Matsui to the Angels (although he's as much to blame for that himself).
