Never mind the futility:

Just tuning in..is that THE Michael Milken? Was Ivan Boesky not available?

3 Alex Belth   ~  Jun 15, 2013 6:53 pm

Another tepid start for the O.

(3) Warming up!
There's something annoying about Scioscia..what is it?

Teix put a real charge into that pop out. Bollocks!

Now, I remain a fan of the stolen base when few others are. But nice way to take the bat out of Cano's hands, Nix. On a 3-1 count, to boot.

I'm watching on Fox Deportes. I can't believe I didn't discover this years ago. It's soooooooooooooooo much better.

I hate the angels.

(7) I never noticed if that's available on mLb.com, will check.
That Pujols deal..on track to surpass A-Rod's as worst ever?

10 Alex Belth   ~  Jun 15, 2013 7:45 pm

This is just painful to watch.

9) Time will only tell.

(10) Teix out..this is not the Sunday morning coffee&bagel game I was looking forward to..but still only 2-2.

I love Cano but am wondering..will he take less than 8 years to stay a Yankee? Such a tough decision for the team. But unlike the Cardinals and Pujols, Yanks have no one to replace Robbie..

What's the word on Tex? When the announcers were talking about it my wife was yapping (as usual).

Anybody hear?

13 Boatzilla   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:20 pm

[4] He always looks smug and he's grossly over weight. Makes him seem pompous, I suppose.

14 Boatzilla   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:29 pm

I love the steal of 3rd.

[12] Just checking in. Lohud is reporting "aggreivated right wrist." I'm guessing out until after ASG.

16 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:33 pm

Fast runner on third and thy cant even make contact to get him home...I'm out, this team is unwatchable.

17 RIYank   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:40 pm

[16] They are terrible.
How did they win so many games in the first six weeks of the season? Luck? They're really bad.

18 Boatzilla   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:42 pm

[16] Unacceptable. Ichiro makes the inning exiting, then it dies an ugly death again.

Calling Mr. A-Rod.

Hey and why is Robbie DHing again? Is Girardi rewarding Adams for that great play yesterday.

19 Boatzilla   ~  Jun 15, 2013 8:43 pm

[15] At least. Seems like it could go on all year.

20 Boatzilla   ~  Jun 15, 2013 9:10 pm

[18] Sorry that was Adams at first shifted over. I'm talking to myself again.

Shitty Fathers' Day. Steamy pissing rain. Yankees stink. My wife gave another bottle of cologne I don't like. At least my daughter is a gem.

Take care, guys and gals.

If this were four years ago, whatever. The fact that Hal has put this team on the field for Mo's last year means he should be strung up from the facade by his testicles.

Tex having this injury just makes this even more frustrating.

[21] Groin pains...

I'm taking a big picture approach to this and hoping that next year will be a whole lot different with upgraded (and younger) talent. These guys are mere place-holders in the lineup.

23 monkeypants   ~  Jun 16, 2013 7:05 am

[22] I like your big picture take, and wish I could share it. What younger talent are we talking about? Free agents, I assume, since there is nothing down on the farm.

[9] The Babe Ruth deal was the worst ever. A-Rod second. At least Pujols plays.

Still 5 games over .500. Not for long.

Going to see The End. Sounds like what's happening to the Yankees. Jim Morrison, sing to me.

[22] Like to know the names of the players you imagine would help.
