Used to be able to buy this 1963 record at Phillips 66 gas stations.

Came with a booklet and everything.

I want this. And if Stan the Man produced one, Ted Williams must have one too just to keep up.

For kids these days, there's "The Manny Ramirez Guide To Hitting." It's a little mp3 thing, with no artwork that goes like this:
"See the ball, hit the ball, and take stuff to hit it harder, and further."

pale hose changed their pitching plans.

sept callup Erik (sic.) Johnson will be pitching. right-hander, which will most likely change our lineup.

hope we don't get URP'ed!

and I hope Lil Sori hits it over the Cliffs of Dover! : )

Speaking of records: last night Koji Uehara moved into second place on the Red Sox all-time list with his 22nd consecutive scoreless relief appearance. In first place is Daniel Bard. Yesterday, the Cubs picked up Bard off waivers.

[6] Let's hope the "k" doesn't stand for our sticks swinging and missing.

I'm on my way to go teach, but if I were around for the game, I'd constantly be posting Eric Johnson references that no one would get... : )
