I dig. I dig.

Hey, I heard that Ipudo is selling bowls of ramen in NYC for 20 bucks a pop. Is that true?

In Tokyo (there's an Ipudo near my office) they go for 6 to 8 bucks depending on the style, but never more than 8, unless you get a lot of add-ons.

Just wondering.

[1] It's $13 for a bowl. Plus $1-3 for additional items: extra pork, egg, etc...

I would recommend Jin on 125th and Broadway for equally good ramen without the equally long waits. They are about $10-$13.

[1] & [2] It's more like 15 or 16 a bowl before add-ons. We got three bowls, two add-ons, pork buns and cokes for $80 bucks after tip on Saturday. Love it, but it's too pricey to be regular stop.

Highway robbery. Ramen is meant to be affordable cuisine.
