Go Buccos! My nephew is at the game today. He is 21 and has known nothing but losing baseball seasons in the 'burgh. PNC park is jumping!

Terrible base running mistake by Andrew with nobody out in the 8th. OY.

[5] Are they playing that again? I thought I heard it in the background, at one game, but it could be my imagination.

If so, it's pretty lame IMHO. They need a new song. Those Pirates were nothing like these.

Anyway, I'm rootin' for them.

[6] That is the theme song of the Bucco's post season! And if Nile Rodgers is good enough to produce and write that song in 1978, and have another hit in 2013 with Daft Punk then the sound must still be relevant.

How long have us Yankees fans endured Frank Sinatra's version of New York, New York?

Go Pittsburgh! But I fear that the only team capable of stopping Boston in the WS are the Dodgers.

So much for starting pitching in the Dodger-Braves game.

[6] I did not hear the song but it was the first thing that popped into my mind after the final out. FWIW my nephew texted me and said the PNC atmosphere was better than a Steelers playoff game. Now THAT I find hard to believe. But he's been to every one for the last 10 years or so. Anyway, I have no problem with a long suffering fan base letting loose and having a blast. I used to love the old seeing old Pirates highlights from the 70's.
