Am engrossed in the Richard Burton Diaries. His comments on film making in the context of his own fascinating life are priceless. He also quite liked baseball and understood it well.

Oh, I've heard great things about that. Hey, if there are any decent passages about baseball would you mind transcribing them and sending them over?

He favored the American League and a had few quid on the Orioles in the 1966 World Series. He commented that the "Robinson boys" has homered in the early innings and mentioned that Willie Davis had ruined Koufax's game with three errors. He enjoyed reading Red Smith in the Times and Jim Murray in the LA Times and thought they were great writers.
