I hope Pineda does well. But I am also rooting for Montero. So far it looks like the Yanks won the deal though. I guess it doesn't help that Montero apparently ate everything in sight before showing up to spring training.

That's a very interesting piece - a lot of words to say that the odds are not good and so your opinion seems to be justified. But he sure has been fun to watch so far this year.

Montero became the backstop that ate Fremont (that's a Seattle reference), Noesi is now in Texass. What happened to Campos?

I know I can be a grumpy hater, but I do have a fairly solid grasp of logic. And logic suggests that considering the incredible advancements in medicine, and more specifically, orthopedic surgery, comparison of injuries between eras is dubious, at best.
