I really really really hope A-Rod comes back next season and hits 30 home runs..

second and third, one out and no runs is a theme for this year.

Hmm, is it incontrovertible?

Brutal. And just feels like there is zero way they can come back and win this.

JUst watched the O's clinch the division title by beating the jays. The Jays' announcers did a nice job framing the picture, and I have to admit, I do get a kick out of watching grown men jump up and down in legitimate excitement and enthusiasm. Showalter is almost smiling.

Insult to injury for DJ. Ugh.

The Phelps ejection and Yates non-ejection feels off. Kiermaier was not hit. Umpire felt it was an intentional pitch up and in, ok, but what's wrong with a pitcher executing a warning without harm? Yes, David could have missed and killed Kevin. But he didn't. Rays pitchers hit Yankees five times recently, including Headley in the face. They need to get the message that it has to stop.

Then Kirby Yates lets a pitch run in, nearly nailing Murphy. John Ryan's "nice pitch" retort was impressive. Young man has composure.

[13] I watched it too, never get tired of watching the celebrations or the 'hold me back' basebrawls.
