Love the trade. Cash Money is back? Let's see if he can get a similar good package for Miller and Beltran now.

Oh, thanks for the tip, rbj.

Ladies and gentlemen, Austin Romine.

5 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:12 pm

Ha, I knew it! I always knew it!

Austin >>> Dallas!

A lead! And in the eighth, where we only need the two headed monster. Insurance, please

7 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:30 pm

I have to admit, that would have pissed me off too. It's hard enough to get a bat on a Betances pitch, but when Dellin gets those two calls, it's impossible.

Altuve unhappy.
But Chapman's last couple of games was getting squeezed. Pitches half in the zone were called balls. Karma

We kept the right guys. I'm telling you.

10 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:36 pm

Hot diggity, SB!

11 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:38 pm

On the one hand, I couldn't be happier having Betances and Miller finishing the game.
On the other hand, Starlin Castro is batting clean-up. Wow.

Geez, an effectively lead off double and no score. How is this day different from all others?

13 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:41 pm

The Red Sox got four hits in the eighth inning, scored one run. Lost 4-2.

14 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:45 pm

Oh, come on. By rights that should have been an out.

15 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:46 pm

I hate shifts. Don't you think it hasn't been tried over the previous century plus?

16 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:46 pm

Yeah, that's more like it.

17 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:47 pm

One down

18 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:50 pm

Die already, Gattis. Go down like a decent human being. No more foul crap.

Argh, dammit!

Okay, Andrew, go get 'em. This is it, big time.

19 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:50 pm

Yeesh. Challenge

20 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:50 pm

Or don't

21 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:51 pm

Hm, I think he would have been safe even if Castro had kept his foot on the base. Throw was a little late.

Ugh.

22 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:52 pm

There ya go! Second try for a DP.

23 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:53 pm

Ahhhhhh.

Only need to get one DP in two tries!

Very, very well pitched game.

24 rbj   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:53 pm

Night, all

Really torn on the idea of trading Miller. He'd bring back a great haul but man, he's so hard to hit. Dellin & Andrew back to back is hard to break up.

26 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:54 pm

Bernie's up.
No, not him. The other guy.
Just sayin'.

27 RIYank   ~  Jul 25, 2016 9:55 pm

[25] Yeah, same here. He's very likable, too, isn't he?

28 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Jul 25, 2016 10:01 pm

[27] Seems like a goofball. I'm slowly being sucked back in by the Yanks this year...enjoy watching Didi, Beltran, A-Rod, Tanaka and the bullpen.
