No Particular Place to Go

And on the day Michael Pineda pitched, the Yanks lost. I didn’t see any of the game but read this tweet from Steven Goldman:

“You could re-watch all five seasons of The Wire between Michael Pineda pitches.”

The final was 4-1.

Blah game all around. No offense didn't help. And the Rays hits seemed to be just out of reach of the infielders' gloves.

Looking at the radar, Friday night's game in Camden Yards looks doubtful.

Jeter is looking to buy the Marlins. Apparently he only has 200 mil and they want a billion. I'm going to take Derek to Vegas and we are going to kill it. 1 hour and his nest egg will be 5 times larger, or we will have to have an Albert Brooks nest egg talk with the owner of the casino. Jetes will be railing on me, "Oh, please. Do me a favor. Don’t use the word. You may not use that word. It’s off limits to you! Only those in this house who understand nest egg may use it! And don’t use any part of it, either. Don’t use “nest.” Don’t use “egg.” You’re out in the forest you can point, “The bird lives in a round stick.” And and and you have “things” over easy with toast!"

OMG, I cracked up at that tweet. SO TRUE. I was so glad to watch that game on delay btw so when Pineda was pitching I could hit the 10 second skip button a LOT.

Good one. Yes, I'd rather watch Omar sleep than Pineda pitch.
