A Love Supreme: Enter the Shao Lin

The Jeremy Lin show hits the road tonight. He’ll face another riveting young point guard, Ricky Rubio, along with Kevin Love and the T Wolves.

Should be fun.

Good game tonight. Knicks getting killed in the paint. Man, Kevin Love is good.

Knicks win! They played tired and turned the ball over a ton down the stretch. Lin was shot, missed a critical free throw, and still, they won. Wolves shit the bed and Knicks stole one. Still, even if they were erratic the Knicks were spirited throughout. Nice "w."

Not. a WH fan but 48 too young for anyone..her voice was insane, an incredible instrument. If she had not hit big in the 80s era of tinny synth production am sure her records would have aged better.

[5] On the contrary, I think much of her work is timeless. "I Will Always Love You" is a classic. "Saving All My Love For You" fits in with any era. Her rendition of the Star Spangled will never be challenged.

I do agree that the more bouncy and up tempo numbers do sound a bit "80s" but there's enough of a body of other stuff.

Shit. We lose this beautiful angel and another drug abuser, the grotesque, vile waste of life, who is Rush Limbaugh continues to pollute the air ways. It ain't fair.

Metta World Peace advises J-Lin to get some shades, a better haircut, and leather pants.

[7] That's a funny Artest interview.

Metta World Peace: You’re in New York, the fashion capital. Change your haircut, OK? You’re a star now. Wear some shades. Shades, OK? Put down the nerdy Harvard book glasses. Put on some black shades, OK? With some leather pants. Change your style. Fashion.

Ken Berger: Do you wear leather pants?

Metta World Peace: No, I won’t wear them, but he should wear leather pants.

Also some love for "the Harpers" of the world. I'm not sure if Artest if only reminiscing about Derek Harper or both Derek and Ron Harper. Whatever, it's fun to have Metta World Peace as the keeper of the old-school flame.

Ron Harper was nice. And although he only played in NYC for a few years I loved me some Derek Harper, too.
