Afternoon Art

I saw the elegant Picasso Guitars Show at the Modern today and it made me feel lighter, alive, and unbelievably happy.

Check out the site, and if you are in town, peep the show, it’s around through early June.

cool, thanks for this. i dig picasso. and i sorta like music...a little bit. i forwarded these links to my brother. not only is he in nyc, but he's a guitarist. when he visited me here at the turn of the year, our whole fam went to the Dali exhibit at the High Museum of Art in Midtown.

Nice. It really is a lovely show. Not too big. I was smiling the whole time.

I saw two dudes looking at a picture and I told them, "Man, looking at these makes me so happy."

And one guy said, "Yes, us too!"

that's wonderful! wish i could see it. i forwarded my email to my dad, too. he's both a guitarist and an artist. hopefully, he and my mom get to go. sadly, i won't be up there while it's happening and even if i somehow am, i won't have time.

i'm still grateful to you for posting Picasso's Three Musicians last year. i now have a small print of it hanging in my hallway. Picasso's Fluers de Petit, is a tradition in my family - it hangs in all of our homes. my drum studio, as well...
