wow. what a great job, william! i think i saw this linked at another big site - prolly mlb trade rumors. it went directly to the yankeeist though, not your blog.

man, i wish they yanks would move their spring training back to those atlanta locales. i'd be able to walk there! : )

Thanks...I actually started out with the idea to create that map, but in an effort to verify all of the locations wound up finding out a lot of interesting things.

In today's well oiled game, ST is really another part of the industry, but back in the earlier half of the last century, it was so much more informal. In fact, it really was Spring Training.
