More Complex than Stress

Here’s a vague update on Mo. The news is not good. What it means I don’t know.

If the goal of Mo's agent, Brian Cashman, and everyone who's reported Cruz's statements was totally freak me out just when I sort of almost comfortable with the idea that Mo just needs a routine surgical procedure and routine rehab and he'll be back pitching in 2013, congratulations. I'm totally freaked out.

Complications? What complications? What kind of complications could there even be?!

[1] No kidding. It seems every athlete in the last 20 years who needed surgery had a complication free procedure. WTF!

[1] Yeah - me too. The waiting is tough. If it was a good complication we'd know about it already.

[1] [0] And might I add, no foul on your part, Alex - I'm glad you posted it because now I have everyone here to commiserate with!

"“We ran into complications,’’ agent Fernando Cuza told The Post."

Why am I reminded of the scene in Brazil "My complications had complications."

I don't think there have ever been good complications.

We better find out soon, this is not good for me.

Anyone know if Mo is scheduled to see Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham anytime soon?

From the awesome Chad Jennings at LoHud:

"Also, Cashman confirmed a report that doctors discovered some sort of complication with Mariano Riveras knee injury, but he said it has no impact on Riveras ability to pitch next season. Rivera will address it tomorrow."
