Beat of the Day

This is a dopey song. But a favorite. I’ve posted it before but sometimes you’re just in the mood…

My daughter has a Lego ice maker. We used it about twice.

This may not surprise ya'll, but the Glimmer Twins have penned songs titled, "She's So Cold" and "She Was Hot", and not that far apart chronologically.

Pop music.

yeah, mostly dopey horn-dog lyrics, but the tune rocks, and Mick redeems himself and the song with this brilliant bit toward the end:

Who would believe you were a beauty indeed
When the days get shorter and the nights get long
Lie awake when the rain comes
Nobody will know, when you're old
When you're old, nobody will know
that you was a beauty, a sweet sweet beauty
A sweet sweet beauty, but stone stone cold

And a little pedal steel from Woody, used really interestingly. Love the tune and when I was young that whole "creamy foam" thing really freaked me out. "HOW CAN HE SING THAT?"
