I know you don't have any control over how a piece turns out--you can pour yourself into it and it could turn out to be a dud--but I was pleased with the result. Mostly, I could control the effort and I'm proud of all the time I spent on it. It was worth it.
The goal with this kind of story is for it to be considered for BASW. But you never know how it'll be received. The fact that it made the book, well, it's just cool as shit.
