Another athlete with L.A. and Detroit ties, new Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter, said a gay teammate could split a locker room.
"For me, as a Christian ... I will be uncomfortable because in all my teachings and all my learning, biblically, it's not right," he said. "It will be difficult and uncomfortable."
I guess I could give Torii the benefit of the doubt and interpret that to be an admission of his own human failings... but I'm not inclined to do that.
I guess he really didn't "teach or learn" much about the bible. I doubt he ever really studied it. As most laymen know, it was written by men in a dead language, then translated, and mistranslated dozens of times...edited and reedited (always by men in power) to suit their purposes (to stay in power and keep women down).
I assume you have proof to back up your statements. I have proof that counters your claims, but for the record, I'd like to know if my sources are correct or wrong. Happy New Year.
Happy end of 2012, all.
Hey, now I'm kind of glad the Yankees didn't acquire Torii Hunter:
I guess I could give Torii the benefit of the doubt and interpret that to be an admission of his own human failings... but I'm not inclined to do that.
Ugh.
Yes, of course Christians must never ever speak the truth.
Albatross!

What a dolt. And I used to like him.
Mr. Boatzilla,
