Yes, this season is all about "Horton Hears A Who"...

I mean Goddamn already.

Re: Youk news..well, we'll always have the triple play.

But seriously...the injury news, that lineup, the weather here (high 80s with 400kajillon% humidity and rain) and the morning radio is playing The Eagles now..I hate the fuckin' Eagles, man...

This is some line-up! Welcome, Thomas Neal.

If they call this game, they had better skip Phil Hughes.

I'm going tomorrow, and God help me, I don't have the fucking energy for that live.

[3] "Hotel California" would be appropriate.

Signing Youk was a hellacious idea. And I don't see Teix being of any value for the rest of the year. Bleh.

My GOD it's rained a lot lately

The official announcement just came through that the Yankees series opener with the Los Angeles Dodgers has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up tomorrow as part of a split doubleheader. The first game will begin at 1 p.m., with the second game starting at 7.

Well, at least this frees up time to watch Game 6 and the USMNT tonite ...

[3] Don't forget the typhoon like wind. I hate the wind more than anything.

The Yanks need something to blow right. Cue "Ride of the Valkyries."

[9] Well, so much for a peaceful commute tomorrow...

[11] "What wind blew you hither? Not the ill wind which blows no man to good..." - the other Will >;)

[12] Sweet.

I'm glad the team avoided, if only for one night, the Vernon-Wells-bats-cleanup-lineup.

NYT says Cashman has to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Last time he tried to do this, he came up with Youk, Brigniac and Overbay. Good basketball game, eh.

Someone read between the lines for me in the Times with respect to A-Rod.
