Hiroki+Kuroda+New+York+Yankees+v+Seattle+Mariners+PJif_qq6xyIl

Yanks turn to the ever-reliable Hiroki Kuroda this afternoon. Fox: Buck-McCarver. Gluten-free offense. That hard-on, John Lackey. Could be a long day’s journey into night.

But never mind all that:

Let’s Go Yank-ees!

[1] I had to listen to them on my ipod last night b/c our power went out. I noticed something new. When the Yankees blew their chance when they had 2nd and 3rd and one out, John did not do his usually hemming and hawing. He didn't even bring it up in the bottom half. He, too, is resigned to this hard to watch offensive offense.

Modammit, I get the Reds-Pirates game. Though with Lyle Overbay hitting cleanup, it might be a blessing in disguise.

Can't fault Nunez for going there, given the gluten-free offense.
