Go Fighting Mattinglys!

[1] That sounds better, thank you.

Who, day and night, must scramble on the base paths
Try to get to Greinke? Heat up David Freese?
And who has the right as home team in St Lou,
To have the final turn at bat?

The Cardinals! The Cardinals!
Tradition!
Tradition!

Who are da bums who traveled cross the country
Brooklyn to LA in 1958?
And who beat the Braves while missing Andre Ethier
Did I mention Yasiel Puig?
The Dodgers! The Dodgers!
Tradition!
Tradition!

Possible big inning here in the Blue part of the third.

What a break for Kelly. Man, he was sweating.

[4] I would enjoy watching Yasiel Puig view a Spanish-subtitled 'Fiddler On the Roof'.

8 RIYank   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:32 pm

Uribe cashes a couple!

Go Blue!

Mike Matheny giving the 'signals' from the bench..do managers realize how silly they look doing that?

10 RIYank   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:34 pm

[7] He would love it. Come on.

Cuba is a very Jewish country. Think of Meyer Lanski!

[10] I was thinking Hyman Roth but same thing!
Grienke is nice..Dodgers should take this one now. Something about the Cardinals annoys me..not sure what.

[11] If managers worried about looking silly, they wouldn't become managers. It's an intrinsically silly-looking position. I mean, they wear uniforms, even though they aren't playing. That gives you a huge head start in the silly-looking race. Can you imagine Mike D'Antoni sitting on the bench in Lakers purple?

Kozma's swing looked like mine in the batting cage last year when I threw my back out..

[11] This TBS Darling/Ripken/Johnson team only slightly better than the Eckersly/Martinez one.

14 RIYank   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:41 pm

Well look at that.
NL baseball is just a whole different animal.

16 thelarmis   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:46 pm

17 RIYank   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:48 pm

Hm, Ethier really should have had that.

18 thelarmis   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:50 pm

nobody should be surprised anymore...

19 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:50 pm

[15] Same!
[17] Agreed.

20 thelarmis   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:53 pm

you guys see fucklander's quote about pitching to the shit sox?

"i just hope they don't call it a hit-by-pitch if it grazes their beards."

pretty funny!

21 thelarmis   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:54 pm

ethier's still injured. maybe he shouldn't be out there...

22 RIYank   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:57 pm

[20] Didn't see that.
But I'm pretty sure he won't hit their beards unless he wants to hit their beards.
Graze, whatever.

23 thelarmis   ~  Oct 11, 2013 8:59 pm

25 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Oct 11, 2013 10:16 pm

26 Ara Just Fair   ~  Oct 11, 2013 11:03 pm

27 Ara Just Fair   ~  Oct 11, 2013 11:06 pm

28 Ara Just Fair   ~  Oct 11, 2013 11:10 pm

29 Ara Just Fair   ~  Oct 12, 2013 12:26 am
