Too Late & Too Early

I had an early flight this morning, so I will have to guess the outcome. After 21 innings, Ichiro homered off Jonny Gomes to win it 9-8. Feel free to correct me in the comments.DSC_0003

And discuss how much we’ll miss mornings like the one in this picture.

Wow, no more scoring after 10 PM? That must be a rarity for their Sunday Up All Nighters.

It was worth getting up early to see that moon this morning. It was brushing the tops of the buildings. I hope there are some clear skies for the eclipse, but it doesn't look good.

Here's the box score, 3-2 Yanks with Nova pitching well and stranding some runners and Beltran smacking the ball this week.

What I do like about baseball is that you have to wait until the last out to find out who won. That being said, I am old and the outcomes don't mean as much to me as they once did. I don't even rush to my computer to find out anymore. And I cannot afford streaming or TV.
