Quite chilly this morning. Had a blanket on the bed and wore a jacket at the park with the dogs. End of summer indeed.

Yeah, it's football weather. For so long we've grown spoiled with also associating it with the excitement of the coming playoffs. But we'll have to sit this year out. Least the Sox are out of it, too. So the playoffs will be fun in a way.

WTF? I'm getting the Rangers -Braves game.

Rain delay?

[4] ah! thanks. Had that rain overnight, waiting for the lawn to dry out before mowing.

Hmm, good start. I wonder how we'll lose...

7 rbj   ~  Sep 13, 2014 1:42 pm

OK, lawn has been mowed. Looks like I've missed the action.

Two down.

I think this year can be summed up by the 3-0, 3-2 wins and the 3-0, 4-3 losses.

You have to be able to score 4-5 runs a game to win consistently in the American League.

Although, I will still keep a glimmer of hope alive, this years "Bombers" are not made to score 5 runs a game.
