trivia answer: Winfield ....I think..

Question is, who is the only player to hit a post season HR for both the Yanks and Jays.

A win sure would be nice. And did Beltran hurt himself on his homewrun trot or did I miss a play in the field?

19 rbj   ~  Sep 19, 2014 8:31 pm

was there a nice hand for Beli in his first at-bat?

29 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 19, 2014 8:47 pm

All these Eli Manning commercials for different products. Giants better win a game or he will be unselling these things.

30 coleman42   ~  Sep 19, 2014 8:48 pm

41 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 19, 2014 8:54 pm

I've been too busy lately to be watching and participate here, but still appreciate this Banter thing and the folks on it. Nice Yankee win.

42 thelarmis   ~  Sep 19, 2014 8:54 pm

NOW the game is over! : )

carry on.

43 Shaun P.   ~  Sep 19, 2014 9:31 pm

[41] Ditto. Paying a lot of attention to the next 9 games though . . . hard to believe that Jeter has just 9 regular season games left.

I was just thinking that when his career started, the Yanks had recently traded for David Cone and Phil Rizzuto was calling games from the booth. Now the Scooter is with the Holy Cow in the sky, and Cone is calling games from the booth.
