A,
Your post titles have been so musical. This one conjures up that great Buck Owens song "Cryin' Time" recorded by artists diverse as Ray Charles, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen, LeAnn Rimes and more. On purpose?

It will be cryin' time tonight at Kaufman. Maybe.

Well that could have been worse.

5 rbj   ~  Oct 29, 2014 7:48 pm

Why can't we get in the running car?

Game 7's are great, doesn't matter who's playing!

12 Alex Belth   ~  Oct 29, 2014 9:15 pm

Hang in there Royals!

Gotta shut the iPad down, will watch, but night all.

This is first postseason game I've watched, and Buck is just as annoying as ever.

He has 2 tones of voice: high tenor, nearly screaming, when Cardin...oops, Giants hit or make good play in field, low baritone when Royals do something positive.

He's really the worst!

Bumgarner's a beast.

16 Alex Belth   ~  Oct 29, 2014 9:28 pm

Damn, Bumgarner's dealing again. Wade's got to keep this at 1 run. 1 run and the Royals are still in it...

Hey guys, guess what...one of my high school classmates, John O'Keefe, won this year's Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology, for his discovery of the brain's inner positioning system, or "inner GPS," as the media called it. Pretty amazing for a son of Irish immigrants who lived in the South Bronx.

[17] Wow, that's very cool! Where did you guys go to school in NYC?

8th inning now, it's getting tense...

19 coleman42   ~  Oct 29, 2014 9:52 pm

[18] Regis, of course! Thanks for asking, OK!

20 Alex Belth   ~  Oct 29, 2014 9:52 pm

Oh, man. So So tense.

Think they can get a run off Bummie? Gosh, I hope so. But I ain't a so sure.

21 coleman42   ~  Oct 29, 2014 9:59 pm

Don't swing for the fences, Lorenzo!

22 coleman42   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:08 pm

I'm really getting into this...go Royals!

23 Shaun P.   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:16 pm

If KC is going to do this, they need a couple of runs . . .

24 Shaun P.   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:17 pm

. . . and the Royals only have 1 out left. Of course its Gordon.

25 MSM35   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:18 pm

Best relief performance since Bob Turley in 1958.

26 Shaun P.   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:18 pm

Holy crap, Gordon is on third!

27 coleman42   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:18 pm

We got a break

28 Shaun P.   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:20 pm

Perez needs to lay off the high heat...

29 coleman42   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:22 pm

Pop up just like end of '96 World Series

30 Shaun P.   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:24 pm

So close. Congrats to the Giants and Bumgarner . . . I remember when he came up and his velocity was gone. Dude has come a long way.

Terrible way for KC to lose, but who ever would have thought they could have made it this far?

Time for the offseason!

31 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:26 pm

Congratulation to the SF Giants. Bumgarner, a performance never to be forgotten. This was a great World Series, us in the minority know it.

32 Ara Just Fair   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:34 pm

Sigh... Winter's coming...
Fuck the giants!

33 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Oct 29, 2014 10:52 pm

[32] just over 4 months for pitchers and catchers!
Cheer up, it could have been the Cardinals.
