Chapter one, eh? You ready to do about 200 of 'em?

Yeah, I am too. Go Yanks!

Snowing now, rain later, more snow this evening. But hey, baseball!

Speaking of baseball, this looks light and fun. I like this game company so I sort of backed by default.

Every time Tanaka wakes up in the morning I worry about him needing tj surgery. It sort of takes the fun out of watching him pitch. So I need to try and forget there is a risk. Any suggestions for selective memory removal?

Ellsbury bounces out to start spring training games.

Chris Young's swing looked good at least. Single to right with two outs.

I have zero faith in garret jones being worth a damn. But nice hit up the first base line.

my first look at pirela and he gets a lucky chop hit. Nothing special but i'm excited just to watch him play.

2 LOB. Might as well get started early on that stat.

Baseball is back! That and this song have me fired up!

3 up 3 down for Adam Warren.

Augh, not even on gamechannel.

[13] no Yankees feed that I know of. I'm watching Phillies feed via mlb.tv.

So, who is kyle roller?

16 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:25 pm

galvez and noonan with back to back ground ball singles.

oh shit, I missed that. Galvez thrown out at the plate. Ellsbury jammed. So not in mid-field form.

19 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:27 pm

umm, it's mid-season form that he isn't in. Not that that's a shock.

Gardner not there yet either btw. He might have just been fooled on it. Sort of tried to bloop it into left center. A bit of a half swing. But that's not necessarily atypical for our gardiener.

21 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:36 pm

hmm, that was some sloppy third base play there from Galvez. It's early but no way to make an impression sir!

22 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:38 pm

Ugh pirela just sailed that ball. Handled the feed Noonan well (barehanded) but that went into the dugout on the attempted double play. I miss Robbie already, though i'm sure it's just early spring blues.

23 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:51 pm

Severino does well there.

24 ColoYank   ~  Mar 3, 2015 1:53 pm

I think they're going to find that young Sr. Severino can help right now. That was a sharp inning.

25 Alex Belth   ~  Mar 3, 2015 3:00 pm

Good name, Severino.

26 rbj   ~  Mar 3, 2015 3:23 pm

Well apparently this is the right game to miss.

27 seamus   ~  Mar 3, 2015 3:55 pm

hmm. i turned the game off. I apparently missed a lot. 5-5 in the 9th.

I know it's baseball, and I know we've been waiting for this since October, but somehow I can't get myself excited for spring training games anymore. I'm looking forward to April and the real games...
