Up Jump The Boogie

The Yanks are in for a fight these last two months of the season and I suppose that’s how it should be. Let’s see if they’ve got enough grit and good fortune to get their asses to the ALDS. Brian Cashman held on to his prized young talent as the trade deadline came and went.

Last night, our boys beat the bejesus out of the White Sox in Chicago by the tune of 13-6, thank you very much. Mark Teixeira hit a grand slam early and then one later. Alex was 2-2 with 3 walks and 4 runs scored. Brendan Ryan and Carlos Beltran had 3 hits, Chase Headley, John Ryan Murphy, and Chris Murphy Young (everyone wants to be a Murphy sometime in their lives) all had 2.

Next.

Yo, Nostra, I hope your honey was happy with the show last night. That KDF was an absolute MONSTROSITY.

We're not huge Phish heads or anything. Personally, I prefer their studio records. She was happy to be outside at a concert. It was good to see some friends there. I'd rather be on the stage than in the audience. I'm much more used to that. Neither of us were able to handle the smoke very well. We got there late and left early. The band played well per usual. Trey played some drums and displayed some excellent single kick work with his right foot! Free tickets and free parking were also nice, not to mention the venue was like 7 miles away from our home. They're playing again tonight, but we're staying at the house....

BLASPHEMER!!!

;)

Glad you had a good and easy time. My show in LA was the complete opposite. Had to pick up my buddy from the bus station in Burbank, because he left his car keys at his parents' house in Berkeley. Then found out the tickets he'd bought for the show didn't arrive. Had to scramble to find ANOTHER set of tickets day of the show. Had to tail him all across LA to get the tickets and then get to the venue.

Show was great though, even if a dude in the row in front of us had some INSANE acid trip and got carted away by the medics ...

Didn't Danks have a similarly terrible year last year and completely shut down the Yankees?

strong finish for mitchell.

at 72 pitches, he's most likely finished for the evening. i imagine moreno will be in next. hopefully, he gives us 3 or 4 scoreless innings.

17 GaryfromChevyChase   ~  Aug 1, 2015 7:34 pm

How about another inning for BMitch?

18 thelarmis   ~  Aug 1, 2015 7:44 pm

[17] they heard you! i think they said 75-80 pitches. hopefully, an easy out or two.

well, crap. looked like an out. keep him in to get the dp?

19 thelarmis   ~  Aug 1, 2015 7:45 pm

ok, pull him. wild pitch on the attempted bunt. frustrated that first grounder wasn't an out. now, an rbi single.

ugly. get him out.

So the PIX team tries to name the iconic white sox. They forgot Appling and Wynn.
