Are You Ready for Some Numbskulls?

bagstruck

Sorry I’ve been so quiet round these parts of late–and without even a word of explanation either. Well, excuse my poor manners. I’ve just been busy that’s all. Anyhow, lots of NFL Playoff action this weekend for those of you who dig that sort of thing. I’ll be checking in on the game I suppose–why the hell not, right?

No matter what you’re doing, hope you’re having a good one.

You know me,

AB

I'm just staring out the window, waiting for spring.

[1] Yep. NFL is for suckas.

Going to be a battle for the AL East this year...game on!

It just feels like Spring is going to come early.
My in-laws, in West Virginia, reported their first snowdrops poking out of the ground!

We finally got a little snow around here last week (a little); here being NYC and the lower Hudson Valley. Mid-Hudson and above got an inch or two the week before. I wouldn't have minded that this past Christmas, but now it just seems a little wrong. Not looking forward to May if this keeps up.

As long as the Jets are out, I couldn't give a crap about football. E@#$ and associated screaming milkduds on the radio have really drained any and all entertainment value out of the game for me and after watching Concussion, I'm really not feeling the NFL. But that's just me.

Oh, I'm watching the games, partly because it's cold outside and there's nothing else on. (I find basketball boring.)

Glad you're posting again, Alex. BTW, anypody else listen to Slate's The Gist podcast? Absolutely hysterical riff on how the new Star Wars movie is a total rip off of the original (episode 4). Teaser: Spock dies. :)
