That looks like someone with a microscope looking at a blood sample of a circus clown...

3-1 BoSox after four.
Lester is working hard, 80 pitches.

Still 3-1 after five, easy inning for Lester.

Still 3-1 after six.

The strike zone is very mysterious (Jerry Layne).
The Rays keep trying to bunt (foul, pop).
Lester started shaky, now looks strong.

3-1 after seven.

Shields looks great (he made one big mistake and Jacoby Ellsbury knocked out a 3-run homer).

Lester is done. Bard on the hill for the eighth.

Strikes out Damon on three pitches. Strikes out Jennings on six pitches. Sam Fuld grounds out on an 0-2 count. He was throwing lightning bolts.

Shreds the Sox in the eighth.

Maddon has pulled a Grandmaster move. Damon PH last inning for Johnson. He goes to LF. Johnson replaced at short by Rodriguez, who was playing second base; Rodriguez replaced at 2B by Zobrist, who was the DH. Damon goes to LF, replacing Sam Fuld. Sam Fuld to the bench. The Rays lose the DH, so Shields now bats in the #2 hole. I hope Girardi is taking notes! He might have to study the video and the lineup card.

Papelbon retires the Rays on 10 pitches. Checkmate.
