Taster’s Cherce

If you can deal with the scene (which isn’t always easy), you should stop by the Spotted Pig for a burger.

Oh, and the fried pig’s ear might sound unappetizing to some but it is delicious like you wouldn’t believe.

Bah, overrated. Funny-tasting bun swallowing up the meat. Just like Subway...

went for my birthday in July and had the burger...and yeah I think it lives up to the hype. Plus we went at like 5:30 on a Tuesday, which helps

Afternoon is the key.

The smoked haddock chowder is my favorite dish but the chicken livers on the grilled bread is great too. Yeah, Alex, afternoon after the lunch scene is over is a perfect time to sit at the bar and the bartenders are usually very cool despite the "scene" factor.

The sheep's milk ricotta gnudi are great too. But the best thing I had there last Friday was a creamed corn soup. It was insanely yummy.
