I Can See Clearly Now the Rain is Gone

Took three hours before they played ball yesterday and I missed the whole damn thing. But when I saw the final score, Yanks 5, Jays 3, on a day where they only got 4 hits, well, I had to smile.

The Bombers are on a run and in for a test this weekend down in Tampa where they haven’t always fared well. Never mind the stud pitching they’ll have to face.

Still, winning, she’s better n losing, nu?

Uch, the Trop is a house of horrors for us. Joe Maddon playing it all loosey goosey, belying his extrasensory perception in those unironic "No, I Really Am Smarter Than You" spectacles. Fernando Rodney with that fuck-you-in-the-ear pantomime archery. Evan Longoria all "look at me, I'm inexpensive, and in my prime" at third base. Blech.

If only...
...that umbrella would disappear and I can see that white dress drenched in rain water.

Alex, you slay me!

BIG series against the Rays. Kuroda could get us off to a great start with another quality performance.I'd settle for 2 out of 3 at the Trop and be very happy.

2 out of 3 would be sweet.

F... the wild card, let's grab the AL east title!!! Who is with me?

Jeter, where you at? Get off that model and get in the game son!

Pineda you punk, get healthy and take Hughes spot in the rotation already. You are like a cheaper version of Carl Pavano.

Let's do this, we have a bunch of AL east matchups and the last 3 games of the year are against the powerhouse Astros.
