Stuck in the Middle With You

A win today and the Yanks’ll go 6-4 on the road trip; lose, and they’re 5-5.

They look to get some length from Mr. Nova.

Nice pitch by Nova to strike out Saladino

I'm digging the Chisox throwback uniforms.

Tex MVP?

8 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 2:39 pm

Tex goes BOOM!

That's 29 on the season. He's creeping up on 400 for his career and some pretty impressive marks for a switch-hitter.

This unspellable pitcher is the best on the White Sox?

10 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 2:42 pm

Oh, no. You've gotta be kidding me!

Foul ball hits Nova on the right thumb in the dugout.

Two Yanks have been hit now.

4-pitch walk. That's it for Jeff S.

Is Drew finally over .200? And for your benefit, thelarmis...double digits please?

The biggest task might be getting through five innings before the rain comes.

13 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 2:51 pm

Drew for two!!

I want double digits!!

14 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 2:55 pm

[12] close - .196 and yes, please!!

When Nova is on he is a joy to watch.

[15] he's just likable, and always is proud on the mound. He used to sometimes seemingly have a lapse of concentration, and things would spiral down fast, but not anymore.

Let's keep the run diff large.

Melke: ex Yankee, Yankee killa.

7 K's for Nova in 6 innings. Did Tommy John Surgery make him nastier?

20 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 3:29 pm

23 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 3:35 pm

The epitome lazy Sunday for me; dozing in and out, laying on the couch, nursing a hangover from my 40th high school reunion last night, and just plain tired from a packed week. And an easy Yankee game to watch

[23] it must be hard to hold your head up as an everyday position player when the BA is under .200.

It seems kinda silly to set off fireworks for a solo shot when your team is losing 12-2 in the 7th.

26 thelarmis   ~  Aug 2, 2015 3:49 pm

jesus. please stop allowing them to score runs.

I still don't like drew. But I am warming to DD.

Got home in time to watch the ninth. Triple double digits on the road? Conceivable!
