The Full Fufkin

Artie Fufkin

The Sox are in town and the Yanks assume the position. Needles to say it’s supposed to rain all weekend.

C.C. joins Alex on the DL. Getting late early folks.

Never mind the forecast:

Let’s Go Yank-ees!

Yeah. I don't know what they should do, be sellers and bring up the kids?

12 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 8:12 pm

rbj, just had a moment to check in, and I wanted to give support as you are single handedly holding down the fort. Nice DP to end a nightmarish situation developing.

What happened to Ells?

13 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:13 pm

Damn, just foul.

14 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:15 pm

[12] nothing else to do tonight. Ells stole second and third in the first. After the second one he grabbed his right hip. They're calling it a tight right hip. MRI to follow.

15 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:21 pm

Free out, thanks!

16 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:26 pm

Phew, I'm going to miss Mark's defense next year, hope Bird can be above average.

[14] Eeesh, , sounds serious (like a stretched hip labrum). Playing bad, and losing players. 2016 is shaping up as the lost weekend of seasons. Kinda fitting with the Lonn Trost ticket insult, the loss of Yes on Comcast, and Fox now in control of Yes. It will shake down to real fans. Its 1965 all over again.

18 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:29 pm

Yes!

19 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 8:29 pm

I like Boeggarts (sp?) but sit down!

20 MSM35   ~  May 6, 2016 8:30 pm

Whom the gods destroy they first put on the DL.

21 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:33 pm

[17] even a losing season is a welcome refuge from this clusterfuck of the presidential campaign

22 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:34 pm

Hickster!

23 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:35 pm

Oh, Dellin is up

24 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:39 pm

Poopi retired

25 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:45 pm

Miller time

26 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 8:45 pm

[17] it was fun until the singular reality happened. There is lot riding on Toledo (and the rest of the state). You will be inundated for the next six months.

27 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 8:46 pm

Meant [21]

28 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:50 pm

[27] Yup. I'm already ignoring my answering machine.

Ermm.

29 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:52 pm

Sitdown!

30 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 8:54 pm

I'm staying to the end now, and my wife is pissed. Have to witness a potential positive outcome.

Gritty Gardner bb

32 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 8:59 pm

Aw jeez, Mark plays it right and it's a DP.

33 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 9:01 pm

I wonder if Tex was influenced to hit away, and he's angry now.

34 Ara Just Fair   ~  May 6, 2016 9:05 pm

Robbie makes that play on his slingshot throw. Miss it.

35 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:06 pm

One down

36 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 9:06 pm

Hoodies are allowed?

37 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:08 pm

Why does My Little Pony need to protect her neck?

38 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:08 pm

Shite

39 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:09 pm

Another double play, please

40 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:10 pm

Oh, double shit

41 Ara Just Fair   ~  May 6, 2016 9:12 pm

Fuck. Gotta have it, Didi!

Nightmare scenario

43 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:13 pm

Bullshit, Blue, he went

44 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 9:14 pm

That was a strike

45 Mattpat11   ~  May 6, 2016 9:15 pm

It was a strike, but I would have gone ballistic if I was Ortiz too. In the moment it looked awful.

46 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 9:15 pm

That last one might be a ball however.

47 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:15 pm

Two down. Suck on a pacifier, Babi!

48 Ara Just Fair   ~  May 6, 2016 9:15 pm

Siddown Fat ass!

49 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:18 pm

For an early boring game, it's gotten . . . Interesting!

Three down!

50 Ara Just Fair   ~  May 6, 2016 9:19 pm

Thank, Mo. Cheers, y'all.

51 rbj   ~  May 6, 2016 9:19 pm

Night, all

52 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 6, 2016 9:20 pm

Can it be more difficult to win a game around here?!

Feeling alive...

53 thelarmis   ~  May 6, 2016 9:30 pm

YAY!!! : )

Nothing's easy though...

54 Alex Belth   ~  May 6, 2016 9:30 pm

Okay, that was great. First, Ortiz's meltdown. How many Hall of Famers act like spoiled brats and blow an at bat in the way Ortiz did tonight? And then to have Miller come back and freeze him? The season's highlight reel might be a joke but that one goes to the top of the list so far. Especially since Ortiz will probably hit 12 more homers against the Yanks this year. Even if Hanley won the game it would have been worth it. Did you hear Michael Kay after he struck out though? He about lost his mind and jacked himself up to Game 7 of the ALCS level intensity. It almost made the think pathetic because it just tells you how bad they are. But for about ten minutes there, that was a shitload of fun.
