Made in the Shade

So go figure, Eovaldi was great, David Price wasn’t and the Yanks cruised to an 8-2 win. How nice. Not as nice as Bartolo Colon hitting a home run, maybe, but we’ll take it.

They’ll play against tonight.

In the meantime, Happy Mother’s Day everyone.

Take everything yourself, Mark.

Pony left the yard? Oh well...good bounce back by Severino there, hope he settles down.

The ESPN crew are not so pleasant to listen to, and Buster Olney really should stick to reporting, not podcasting/reporting..

A 2 game streak and now a knuckler. Oi!

9 Alex Belth   ~  May 8, 2016 7:32 pm

Be nice for Severino to get his act together here.

10 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 7:35 pm

Good bounce back

[9] He's settled down! But will the 'O' show up?

12 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 8, 2016 8:03 pm

Really, at this point I'm fully confident I will be 70 years old and Ortiz will still be hitting home runs against the Yankees..

13 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 8:05 pm

So apparently it's hit or miss with Sevvy tonight

Sevvy pitching great. Li'l Pony's HR was a wall scrapper at the short wall in RF. Beli missed it by six inches on his jump. Papi's HR was a no doubter, but so what, a solo shot. Lots of strike outs.

But it looks like the Yanks can't score any against this knucklehead Wright. So it might as well be 10 to nothing.

15 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 8:23 pm

Can we get Bartolo to hit for us?

16 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 8, 2016 8:32 pm

[15] That clip was a Mother's Day gift. The Spanish Broadcast of Tolo's HR was the funniest.

17 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 8:42 pm

Wait, what, it's now 4-0?

18 kenboyer made me cry   ~  May 8, 2016 8:43 pm

Friggin Ortiz. He's gotta be on designer enhancements.

Last year the Yankees faced two knucklers in one week. RA Dickey and was it Wright? It put their bats to sleep for the rest of the season.

Sevvy pitched fine, and it is possible that a more athletic fielder would have caught Pony's HR. So, the score might be 2-0.

jesus. fuck the shit sox. and what a pathetic offense we have.

21 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 8:52 pm

24 rbj   ~  May 8, 2016 9:02 pm

31 thelarmis   ~  May 8, 2016 9:25 pm

32 thelarmis   ~  May 8, 2016 9:34 pm
