Taster’s Cherce

One of the best parts about visiting my relatives in Belgium when I was a kid was  eating Frites. They were served in a paper cone and were so much better than fries here in the States. These days you can get Belgium-style fried potatoes in New York, like at Pommes Frites in the East Village.

Serious Eats tries all of the dipping sauces.

Hells yeah.

from what I've heard, Le Petite Abeille also has some pretty tasty Belgian style frites too!

1) They are ok. Not bad. But not great either.

That and I don't think they have the abundance of sauces. Oh my, those look good!

The frites are tres bien in Belgium but come in #2 on the attraction scale to the INCREDIBLE number of great beers. Pub in Bruge had a 16 page menu of beers, one page of small snacks. THAT'S getting your priorities straight!
