I wish Cano didn't chase really bad pitches.

6 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 12:32 pm

Lame.

7 rbj   ~  Jul 7, 2012 12:38 pm

Oy vey! 2 outs on the basepath?

8 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 12:38 pm

Are you friggin' kidding me? That is some grade A horse shit getting two guys picked off at first in the same gd inning. b double o.

3 games in 28 hours wreaks havoc on a BP. And last night both BPs saw some use. We will be into their BP (hopefully) in 2 more innings (70 pitches so far).

Can Freddy give us 7?
It would be nice to have DRob and/or Sori available for the nightcap.

A good 3 innings to start from Freddie.

11 OldYanksFan   ~  Jul 7, 2012 12:47 pm

48 pitches for Freddie after 3. Not too bad.

12 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 12:50 pm

seamus!

andruw!!!

hey OYF - do you ever go to the Fens to see the Yanks play?

18 OldYanksFan   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:30 pm

[17] I been to a number of games at Fenway, but only 1 for the Yanks. I imagine ticket prices would be real high.
62 Pitches for Freddie after 4.
116 pitches for the Sox after 5.

19 OldYanksFan   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:31 pm

I like Nix. League average bat, has some pop, plays both INF and OF.

20 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:35 pm

[18] i went to (new) yankee stadium for the first time about 3 weeks ago. it was wonderful!!!

21 OldYanksFan   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:37 pm

75 Pitches for Freddie after 5.

22 rbj   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:37 pm

5 innings of 1 run ball from Freddy, I'll take that.

23 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:37 pm

The Chief!!!

5:1 k:bb ratio. 5 hits in 5 innings, all singles. 75 pitches.

me likey!

24 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:49 pm

One of the better dp's of the year. Atta boy, Andrew!

25 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:51 pm

walk to fat liar.

a-gon flies into a dp to left. assist: andruw.

26 OldYanksFan   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:51 pm

86 Pitches for Freddie after 6.

27 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:52 pm

[24] i find it weird that it seems weird to me to see andruw's name spelled 'correctly'. i guess after all those years in atlanta, i'm super used to seeing his odd spelling...

28 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:54 pm

[26] really really helping the bullpen today! hopefully, the chief can give us another inning or two, then it'll be rapada or wade...

29 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:56 pm

[27] That's right! I have probably properly misspelled his name about dozen times this year. : )

30 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 1:58 pm

[29] though, in reality, it was him mom who misspelled his name! : )

31 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:00 pm

it's nowhere near as offensive (for lack of a better term) than: Jhonny (Peralta)

[i wanna say i read somewhere that the nurse at the hospital misspelled it like that and they just left it. either way...not good!]

32 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:01 pm

germano really helping boston's pen. wish we would've abused him and tired out their relievers for tonite...

33 rbj   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:06 pm

Great job, Freddy.

34 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:06 pm

i hope GI Joe doesn't get too cute and let's the Chief pitch to the 9 hitter...

35 boston yank   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:07 pm

@ Fenway pahk. Fenway faithful kinda quiet today. Lotsa yanks fans here.

36 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:07 pm

Chief was Fab!

37 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:08 pm

[35] very very nice!

38 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:11 pm

good work, epps!

39 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:21 pm

I can't believe Germano made Teix and Alex looks so stupid. Bleh!

40 seamus   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:28 pm

i like this cruising feeling.

41 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:32 pm

43 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:42 pm

No need to make the 9th interesting now. Let's go! 3 quick ones.

44 rbj   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:45 pm

Sweet.

45 Ara Just Fair   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:45 pm

Nice win! : )

46 seamus   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:46 pm

easy as pie.

47 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:47 pm

fabulous!

let's do it again later!

48 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:48 pm

we can go 20 games over .500 tonight. at the same time, that would put boston a game under.

let's do it!

49 Dimelo   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:49 pm

[48] 20 games > .500 is quite a feat, albeit with a win tonight.

I'm on board!

50 seamus   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:50 pm

[48] two fabulous goals!

51 thelarmis   ~  Jul 7, 2012 2:55 pm
